Leisure and hospitality specialist Sidney Phillips has announced the sale of the Lion Inn, a closed public house in Croydon.
The Lion Inn sits in a residential area midway between Croydon and Thornton Heath, an area growing in popularity due to its commutability to central London, as well as the growing range of amenities available in central Croydon. Being a stones’ throw away from Croydon University Hospital this area is becoming increasingly popular as residential area for NHS staff.
The Lion Inn is a substantial end-of-terrace public house, on the junction of Pawsons Road and Lion Road, comprising two trade areas, basement and two three-bedroom flats.
The business is currently closed and has been since the middle of 2020. The property has been sold off an asking price of £700,000.
