Sidney Phillips are pleased to announce the sale of the freehold interest of the Shovel Inn in Lye, Worcestershire. The pub was sold off a freehold asking price of £295,000.
The town of Lye stands in the Black Country area of the West Midlands, just north of the larger town of Stourbridge. The Shovel Inn is a character public house which dates to 1836.
The Shovel Inn has been operated by the current owners for over 20 years, having acquired the same in 2005. The pub has now been sold to allow the sellers to retire.
The pub has an excellent reputation for its beverages, having been listed in the Good Beer Guide on many occasions.
