The Red Lion, a closed pub situated in the village of Cheddleton in Staffordshire, has been let through leisure property specialist Sidney Phillips.
The Grade II listed building dates to the 18th century and is located in the Staffordshire Moorlands. Churnet Valley Railway and the market town of Leek. The three-storey property comprises of a three-section trade area, trade kitchen and garage to the ground floor. The 1st floor features and function room and access to a duplex flat. Externally, there is a split-level trade patio with sheltered seating and outdoor bar plus off-road parking for 20 vehicles.
Dean McVay, Regional Valuations Manager for the North West handled the sale and commented: “The Red Lion represented a wonderful opportunity to acquire a historic public house in the Staffordshire Moorlands. The pub previously had an excellent reputation, and I have no doubt that JJ Pub Group will re-establish trade in this much-loved public house.
