The Midlands is a diverse cultural area of England, much famed for its importance during the Industrial Revolution of the 18th and 19th Centuries. Home to some of the county’s conurbations including Birmingham, Leicester and Stoke-on-Trent, the area is a powerhouse of trade and commerce.

The region contains some of the UK’s favourite destinations including the Peak District, Malvern Hills, Cotswolds and the Forest of Dean, which draw in large numbers of ramblers, cyclists and nature enthusiasts all year round.

Some of the country’s top universities are situated in the Midlands which has created buzzing city centres in Birmingham, Leicester, and Nottingham, and can be attributed to greatly supporting the local economy and buy-to-let market.

In recent years the market has shown strong demand for large freehold out-of-town public houses on main roads, desirable purchases for multiple regional operators and managed house operators alike. Rural village pubs also continue to sell well and are very popular if held on attractive free-of-tie leases from private Landlords.
